A

MOMENT

THAT LASTS

A LIFETIME

Nothing feeds a hungry Jewish soul more than celebrating a sacred moment of life in Israel.

Imagine being in the remains of a fourth century Galilean synagogue for your child's Bar/Bat Mitzvah, or being surrounded by the architectural masterpieces of Caesarea built by Herod, or being in the ancient synagogue in the desert oasis of Ein Gedi.  And more.

Imagine standing under a huppah, surrounded by your friends and family, embraced by the cool breeze of a summer night in the lush and picturesque Jezreel Valley, or on a mountain overlooking the Kinneret, or in a sixteenth century synagogue of the great mystics of Tzfat.  And more.

The options are endless.

In Israel, like no other place in the world, you will experience a moment that speaks eternity.

HAVE SIMHA, WILL TRAVEL

Rabbi Netter is available to travel anywhere in Israel to celebrate your simha with you

RITUALIZING LIFE'S SIGNIFICANT MOMENTS

Celebrating the journey

BRIS/BABY NAMING

beginning Jewish life with distinction

No life experience is more profound, more mysterious, than the birth of a child.  A Jewish boy is entered into the Covenant of Abraham on his eighth day through the rite of circumcision, the symbol of the Covenant.   Rabbi Netter is not a mohel, but can co-officiate to make the ceremony religiously meaningful and spiritual.

A Jewish girl is given her Hebrew name in a special ceremony designed with her parents especially for her.  She will carry this Hebrew name through the world as her unique Jewish identity, as a symbol of her relationship with God, the Jewish people, and her family.

BAR/BAT MITZVAH

coming of age in Jewish life

Bar/Bat Mitzvah celebrates the developmental passage from the end of childhood to an emerging adulthood.  A girl becomes a bat mitzvah at the age of 12; a boy becomes a bar mitzvah at the age of 13. Providing your child with a coming-of-age ceremony in Israel establishes an indelible connection to Israel and the Jewish People that will help define who she or he is.

The ceremony we will create together will celebrate this important milestone with your child reading from the sacred scroll of the Torah, leading the congregation in prayer, and teaching words of Torah.

WEDDING

when two become one

A Jewish wedding surrounds the couple with rituals that are mindful of the familial traditions of the past while at the same time prayerfully looking into the future about to unfold.

Rabbi Netter cannot officially register marriages in the State of Israel.  But with a marriage license from outside of Israel in hand, Rabbi Netter will conduct for all Jewish couples, regardless of denominational affiliation and sexual orientation, a beautiful, personal, deeply meaningful and inspirational wedding ceremony.
